The National Initiative for Proficiency in Reading with Understanding and Numeracy (NIPUN Bharat) Mission’s target is to ensure that every child in India has foundational literacy and numeracy (FLN) skills by the end of Grade 3 by 2026-27.
The NIPUN Bharat Mission uses an assessment for learning approach, which provides feedback to improve students’ performance. It also uses a balanced approach, where teachers follow what is appropriate for their classroom and every child learns in a joyful and stress-free manner.
